The author
I am a practitioner, experienced owner, careful observer, and incurable note-taker—not a laboratory or an anonymous “team of experts.” Where credentials matter, I name them. Where ordinary experience is the evidence, I say that too.
Editorial range
We cover hunting and fieldcraft, strength and conditioning, grappling and martial arts, preparedness, technology, equipment, and the contested narratives often described as fifth-generation warfare. The common thread is practical agency: becoming harder to fool, easier to rely on, and more capable when conditions are imperfect.
Method
We favor practice, primary sources, and repeatable ordinary use over spectacle. Training history, conditions, equipment, uncertainty, failures, and limits belong in the story.
Editorial principles
We date recommendations, separate experience from research, publish meaningful corrections, and never sell conclusions.
